Nearly 100 vehicle break-ins Monday night into Tuesday morning

FARGO (KFGO) – The Fargo Police Department is investigating nearly 100 car break-ins overnight Monday into Tuesday.   

The break-ins happened throughout the city.   

The department is asking people to check their vehicles for any signs of tampering or theft. Any tampering or theft should be reported to Fargo Police as soon as possible by calling 701-451-7660.    

Fargo Police are reminding people they can protect themselves from vehicle break-ins by locking vehicles, removing valuables, parking in well-lit areas, installing security devices, and reporting suspicious activity.
