Fargo South High School students evacuated after bomb threat (KFGO News reporter Don Haney)
FARGO (KFGO) โ Fargo police say the FBI is now leading the investigation into a series of bomb threats in the city last week.
There were six bomb threats in all. None were found to be credible.
The office at Fargo South High School received threats Wednesday and Friday. The call on Friday forced the school to dismiss early for the day.
The other four threats were made to businesses.
One business in the 4400 block of 17th Avenue S., one in the 600 block of Main Avenue, and Walmart off of 52nd Avenue S. were threatened Thursday. The threat to Walmart caused police to evacuate the building for about three hours during a search of the property.
The sixth threat was called into a business in the 3900 block of 13th Avenue S. on Friday.
Fargo police said the FBI is taking over the investigation due to the origins of the threats, but did not elaborate further.
