FARGO (KFGO) โ Court records say the man who was arrested after running from police and breaking into a southwest Fargo home was found in an appliance in the basement.
Officers first responded to a different home Wednesday morning around 9 on a report of a disturbance, but when they arrived, the suspect was gone.
Around a half-hour later, officers were called again, this time for a man who was threatening a 17-year-old girl. The officer says the man, identified as Marc Young, ran. Young was wearing a backpack and money was flying out of it as he ran.
The officer lost track of Young and k-9s and a drone team were used to search for him. Young was eventually tracked to a home in the 4400 block of 47th street south and found in the basement appliance.
Through the investigation, were told young struck the girl in the face leaving a red mark and took around $130 from a bedroom in the home. Young was arrested around five hours after the first call. He told an officer that he lost around $200 during that time.
Young is charged with trespassing, assault, theft, and refusing to halt.
