FARGO (KFGO) – The Biltmore on Main at Main Ave. and I-29 in Fargo is closing this weekend.
Sources tell KFGO News that the property has been sold, but when contacted, the potential buyer said it would not comment at this point.
The city says it has no building permit applications for the site. In a social media post, O’Kelly’s, the bar and restaurant connected to the hotel, says it will close at midnight Saturday. O’Kelly’s opened in 1985.
O’Kelly’s posted this statement on Facebook:
“As we reflect on the incredible journey of O’Kelly’s since our opening in 1985, we are filled with immense gratitude for each and every one of you. Many of you have been with us from the very beginning, and your unwavering support has been the cornerstone of our success.”
“This weekend marks the end of an era for O’Kelly’s, and we are nostalgic and sad to share this news with you, whether in person or in spirit. Your loyalty and cherished memories have made O’Kelly’s more than just a place to dine; it has become a community.”
