WEBSTER, Minn. – A 14-year-old boy is dead, and two people are in critical condition after a crash Tuesday night in southern Minnesota’s Rice County.
The sheriff’s office says a truck driven by 20-year-old Caleb Mulvihill of Lakeville crossed the centerline and collided with a pickup driven by 16-year-old Hunter Bundy from Lakeville.
Deputies say a passenger in Mulvihill’s truck, Brantly McCarty, died at the scene. Mulvihill was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, and Bundy was taken to Children’s Hospital.
The report says impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
