PINE RIVER, Minn. (KFGO) – The Cass County Minnesota Sheriff’s Office says a man drowned in the Pine River Monday.
Sheriff Bryan Welk says Pine River Police officers responded to a missing person report and learned a 54-year-old man left home to go swimming and didn’t return. About two hours later, the man was found dead in the river.
The man’s body was sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s office in St. Paul for an autopsy.
