CASSELTON, N.D. (KFGO) – Cass County deputies and other agencies responded to a report of a missing child Sunday night in Casselton.
A caller reported that a 5-year-old was missing from the campground at Days Inn Hotel and Conference Center at about 8:45. The child was located safely after about an hour and was returned to the campground and reunited with family members.
Deputies, Red River Regional Drone Team, Casselton Fire, Ringdahl Ambulance Service, highway patrol, a police dog and community members assisted.
An Everbridge notification alert was sent to the immediate area.
