FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man arrested for the stabbing death of a 14-year-old Moorhead girl in Moorhead will be returned to Minnesota where charges will be filed.
Isaac Arndt, 18, was arrested in Fargo. A Cass County District Court judge ordered his extradition to Moorhead Friday morning during a brief interactive appearance from the Cass County Jail.
According to a warrant filed in the case, Arndt and the victim, Jaelyn Walker, had been in a relationship. Police say during questioning, Arndt admitted to stabbing Walker 13 times after they met at Goosberry Park before he dragged the body to near the Red River.
Walker’s funeral is scheduled for Tuesday at Prairie Heights Church in West Fargo. She would have been a freshman at Moorhead High School this fall.
