BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – A 24-year-old Bismarck man is accused of gross sexual imposition after he was found with a 10-year-old girl walking around the North Dakota State Capitol Grounds on Thursday. Officers responded at around 5:50 a.m.
The girl reported to a family member through Snapchat that she was being sexually assaulted outside the Capitol. Officers located the girl and Isiah Simms.
Through investigation and interviews, police detectives were able to determine that a sexual assault occurred and arrested Simms on three counts of GSI-sexual contact with a victim under 15.
Simms was taken to Burleigh Morton Detention Center
