MOORHEAD (KFGO) – A Fargo man has been arrested for murder in the death of a woman in Moorhead.
Police say 18-year-old Isaac Arndt was arrested in Fargo and taken to the Cass County Jail. The Clay County Attorney’s Office will be asked to file homicide charges against Arndt, who must be returned to Moorhead to face the charges.
Police say Arndt and the victim were known to one another. The name of the victim has not been released.
The woman’s body was found early Tuesday morning along the river near Elm Street and 6th Avenue S.
Police are asking residents who may have surveillance footage to check for any suspicious activity between Monday evening and early Tuesday morning. They should contact Red River Regional Dispatch at 701-451-7660 and ask to speak with a Moorhead Police supervisor.
Police are receiving assistance in the investigation from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Clay County Sheriff’s Office and Metro Street Crimes Unit.
