BEMIDJI, Minn. (KFGO) – One person is dead following a domestic violence call in northern Minnesota’s Beltrami County.
The sheriff’s office says it took place early Saturday morning. The emergency communications center received a 911 call reporting a disturbance in the southeastern part of the county. Deputies and Leech Lake Police responded. The victim was unresponsive and not breathing. The person died at Cass Lake Indian Health Services. Autopsy results are pending. A suspect was arrested.
The names of the two people have not been released.
