Dustin Powell (Cass Co. jail)
MAPLETON, N.D. (KFGO) – A chase that started in Minnesota ended in North Dakota near Mapleton Sunday night.
Around 9:40 p.m., troopers tried to stop a stolen car on I-94 that that entered North Dakota and had been pursued by Minnesota state troopers.
The Highway Patrol says Dustin Powell, 30, was driving the car at high speeds until he was forced to stop in a field three miles northwest of Mapleton. Powell, who has no permanent address, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, fleeing, aggravated reckless driving, and DUI test refusal.
No one was hurt during the chase.
