
DULUTH, Minn. (KFGO) – The State Patrol is investigating a construction zone crash that left four people, including two girls, dead in northeast Minnesota Wednesday.
While traffic was stopped on Highway 2 about 30 miles west of Duluth, a semi truck slammed into vehicles at highway speeds. Four other vehicles were involved.
Vincent Dow, 65, Bonnie Dow, 66, Hope Oakgrove, 9, and Charlotte White, 9, were all traveling in the same SUV and died in the crash. They are all from Blackduck.
Three people, including the semi truck driver – 63-year-old Gregory Anwiler of Grand Rapids, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Three other people involved in the crash were not hurt.
The crash is under investigation.
