Ian Kramchuck (Grand Forks County Correctional Center)
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – An armed robbery suspect was arrested early Monday morning in Grand Forks.
Police were dispatched to the Valley Dairy Store at 1220 University Avenue at 3:31 on a report of a robbery in progress.
The suspect, later identified as 20-year-old Ian Kramchuck, entered the store armed with a handgun.
He threatened the employees and a struggle then started. The gun was forcefully taken away from Kramchuck by employees and he was restrained until police arrived and took him into custody.
Kramchuck refused to identify himself with the police and was transported to the Grand Forks County Correctional Center. He’s facing charges of armed robbery, terrorizing, and physical obstruction of a government function.
There were no injuries reported
