NEW TOWN, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is reporting a fatal motorcycle crash approximately 20 miles west of New Town, N.D. on Sunday, just after midnight.
The motorcycle was westbound on Highway 23 when the 55-year-old man of Watford City, N.D. lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown from the bike. The man was pronounced dead on scene. The rider was wearing a helmet.
The name will be released pending next of kin notification. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
