FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo police say a report of a sexual assault led them to Rodeway Inn on University Drive south Friday morning.
Sgt. Michael Anderson says officers responded to the 4100 block of 4th Avenue S at about 7:30 a.m. The victim said she had been sexually assaulted at the hotel and that another person was possibly being held against their will in the room where the assault took place. Several officers and squad cars were at the hotel for several hours midday Friday, along with a K-9.
Anderson says officers tried to make contact by phone. When that was not successful, police got a search warrant and two people were detained.
After serving the warrant, police arrested 42-year-old Allison Ledoux, no permanent address, for felonious restraint and terrorizing. Additional charges are possible. No arrests have been made in the sexual assault.
The public was asked to stay away from immediate area until the incident was resolved.
