AMENIA, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol received the report of a rollover crash two miles north of Amenia, North Dakota yesterday just before 9 P.M.
A pickup truck was traveling north on Hwy 18 when it left the roadway and entered the east ditch, just prior to the intersection of 26th St SE. The pickup went up the ditch of 26th St SE and vaulted, went into a roll and landed in the east ditch of Highway 18. The pickup came to final rest on the driver’s side and the driver was trapped inside the vehicle.
Casselton Fire cut the roof off to remove the driver, 54-year-old man from Arthur, ND was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Sanford Hospital via Casselton Ambulance.
Pending charges are DUI, DUI-Refusal. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
