FARGO (KFGO) – One person was killed and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 25th Street South and 13th Avenue South in Fargo shortly after 10:30 Thursday night.
North Dakota Highway Patrol says the motorcycle was eastbound on 13th Avenue and entered the intersection with 25th Street on a red light when it collided with a car traveling southbound on 25th Street on a green light.
Both people on the motorcycle were thrown off. The driver, Jason Short, a 47-year-old Fargo man died at the scene. The passenger, Lanayah Warren, 19-year-old woman from Arapahoe, WY was transported to Sanford Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Neither were wearing a helmet.
The driver of the car Kellcie Brown of Fargo, and passenger Kellie Sharratt of West Fargo, both 21, were transported to Essentia Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
