Nicholas Narveson (Grand Forks County Correction Center)
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – One person was murdered in a shooting in Grand Forks.
Police were dispatched to Sledsters Food and Brew at 21 South 4th Street for a shooting in progress. Officers found one victim on the floor inside the business with gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim died.
The suspect in the shooting was located and taken into custody at Tea and Crepe’s at 307 Demers Avenue without incident.
Nicholas Narveson, 26, of Grand Forks, was arrested and charged with murder.
The victim has been identified as James Jorgenson.
