FARGO (KFGO) – A 17-year-old Fargo boy suffered minor injuries when the motorcycle he was riding rear-ended a van on Interstate-94 and 45th Street in Fargo Monday morning.
The Highway Patrol says the van and motorcycle were both westbound in the left lane of the interstate when the woman driving the van saw the motorcycle approaching at a high rate of speed. As the woman tried to change lanes to let the motorcycle pass, the boy also changed lanes and rear-ended the van.
The boy, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle into the ditch. The motorcycle ended up in the median.
The woman was not hurt.
The Highway Patrol says the boy’s name and any criminal charges will not be released.
