CENTER CITY, Minn. (KFGO) – The sheriff’s office in Minnesota’s Chisago County called it “Saturday Afternoon Shenanigans.”
A deputy stopped the driver of a motorcycle who gave the officer his brother’s name and then took off. Several miles later, the motorcyclist flew over a roundabout. He was hospitalized but not seriously injured. He’d been drinking and the county seized the motorcycle.
In a social media post, the department wrote, “Said motorcycle driver failed to stick his landing and did not set any records. Motorcycle rider then decided to try the 100 yd dash on foot but was ultimately caught.”
Evel Knievel was a motorcycle jumping daredevil who died in 2007 at age 69. He jumped the snake river in 1974.
