ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – A woman accused of being recruited to fly from Seattle to bribe a juror in the Feeding Our Future fraud trial is pleading not guilty.
Ladan Mohamed Ali was charged with conspiracy to bribe a juror, bribery of a juror, and corruptly influencing a juror. Four others were charged in the bribery scheme.
A federal judge in St. Paul released her from custody Friday. Ali was let go on the conditions that included a ban from contacting potential victims or witnesses in the case.
Five defendants in the food fraud trial were convicted earlier this month.
