FARGO (KFGO) โ The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the motorcyclists involved in two separate crashes in Fargo Saturday night.
Reese Lewis, 19, was killed. Devin Privradsky, 19, was injured. The two are from Wahpeton.
Authorities said Lewis was driving a motorcycle eastbound on 55th Avenue S. from 38th Street near Walmart shortly before 8:30 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle, struck a curb, and hit a light pole. He was taken to Essentia Health where he died.
Privratsky tried to avoid the first crash and tipped his motorcycle. He was taken to Essentia Health with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Both were wearing helmets.
The crashes remains under investigation.

FARGO (KFGO) โ One person is dead after a motorcycle crash near Walmart in south Fargo Saturday night.
According to Fargo Police, officers were called to 55th Avenue S. between 38th Street and Tillstone Drive just before 8:30 p.m. for a single motorcycle crash.
The officers began life-saving measures on the rider who police say was a 19-year-old man from Wahpeton. The man was taken to a hospital where he died.
The crash is under investigation by Fargo Police and the Highway Patrol.
The manโs name will be released after family is notified.
