BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO/Prairie Public) – A 29-year-old Williston man has been sentenced to a total of 50 years for producing or attempting to produce child pornography.
Nicholas Nesdahl was charged with seven counts in North Dakota and two in Pennsylvania.
Nesdahl friended minors online, then groomed them to produce images and videos of themselves nude or engaging in sexual activity. The victims ranged from 6 to 15 years of age.
US District Judge Daniel Traynor sentenced Nesdahl to 30 years in prison for the North Dakota charges, and 20 years for the Pennsylvania counts. The sentences will run consecutively.
