Runeberg Township, Minn. (KFGO) – The Becker County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a US Postal Service van Saturday afternoon around 2:51, on County Hwy. 40 approximately 3 miles east of the city of Wolf Lake.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene where they found the driver of the motorcycle, an adult man, deceased. The initial investigation indicates the eastbound motorcycle and a US Postal Service van, collided as the van was crossing the eastbound lane and entering a driveway.
The driver of the van was not injured. The name of the deceased and driver of the van are being withheld until notification of family members.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Wolf Lake Rescue, Wolf Lake Fire Department, and MN State Patrol. This incident remains under investigation.
