FARGO, N.D. (KFGO/KVRR) — The Commander of the Air Combat Command is going to be making stops this week in Grand Forks and Fargo.
General Kenneth Wilsbach will meet with Grand Forks Air Force Base leadership and community leaders on Monday morning.
On Tuesday, Sen. John Hoeven and Wilsbach will hold a counter-UAS discussion with leaders from UND to further partner the institution’s aviation school with the Air Force.
They will also hold a roundtable at Grand Sky on maximizing priorities such as counter-UAS, hypersonic missile testing and space missions.
“Not only to tour the base but also to see the amazing things that we’re doing in unmanned aviation and so many other aspects of aerospace and space with the Grand Sky Technology Park and our outstanding University of North Dakota,” said Hoeven.
Tuesday afternoon, Hoeven and Wilsbach will join community leaders to review the operations of the 119th Wing in Fargo.
