FELTON, Minn. (KFGO) – Two people were injured in a crash in rural Clay County Friday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2:45 at the intersection of Clay County Road 11 and Clay County Road 34, about 6 miles west of Felton.
Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting says a car was driving north on County Road 11 and didn’t stop at the stop sign at the intersection. The car hit a pickup, causing the pickup to roll. The car caught on fire.
Felton Fire put the fire out.
Both drivers were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. They were wearing seatbelts.
Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Felton Fire and Rescue, and Sanford Ambulance all responded to the crash.
