FARGO (KFGO) – A Wyndmere man is in the Cass County Jail after police say he led them on a chase in south Fargo on Monday evening.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy saw Andres (Andrew) Vasquez, 23, doing ‘wheelies’ on his motorcycle near 32nd Ave. S. and University Drive around 8 p.m. The deputy tried to stop Vasquez, and Vasquez fled down a dead-end road.
When Vasquez turned around and started out of the dead-end, the deputy ran over and tried to grab Vasquez to get him off the motorcycle. Vasquez fled, and crashed at the intersection of 32nd Ave. and University.
Vasquez was cleared by medics, and taken to the Cass County Jail. He’s charged with fleeing and driving under suspension. He was cited for driving without insurance and exhibition driving.
