JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFGO) – A Jamestown boy is being referred to juvenile court for terrorizing after being accused of pointing a gun at another boy Monday night.
According to Jamestown Police, an officer found the suspect walking with a group. The officer noticed something in the boy’s waistband.
The boy told the officer it was a BB gun. The officer seized the gun and police say it is a replica of a Glock pistol that didn’t have any markings identifying it as anything other than an actual gun.
Officers determined the suspect pointed the gun at the victim because he believed the victim had something that was stolen from him. The victim was able to get away on his bike and call for help.
Police say both boys are in their early teens.
The suspect was arrested for terrorizing as well as being in possession of an alcoholic beverage.
