There’s still time left to sign up to support the advocacy efforts of the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association (MSGA) and have fun on the fairway. The registration and sponsorship deadline for the inaugural Beck’s Soybean Classic golf tournament has been extended to June 11. By participating in this fun outing, you’ll support an organization that has farmers’ backs in the Legislature through protecting crop inputs.
MSGA’s first-ever Beck’s Soybean Classic will be held on Monday, June 17, at the Perham Lakeside Golf Course in Perham. Registration is open for four-person teams. The cost is $130 per person or $500 per team. The registration fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, dinner and drink tickets. With the registration deadline extended to June 11, sponsorship opportunities are still available by contacting Amanda Beavens at abeavens@agmgmtsolutions.com.
Whether you are a farmer, agribusiness owner, industry supporter or just a community member looking to participate in a fun golf tournament on one of the region’s top courses, the Beck’s Soybean Classic is a great opportunity to help strengthen MSGA’s advocacy efforts at the Capitol and build relationships with industry peers.
“We are very excited to add this new event and bring it to our growers and supporters in the northern part of the state,” said MSGA President Bob Worth. “Participating in the Beck’s Soybean Classic hosted by MSGA is a great way you can support our advocacy efforts in St. Paul and Washington, D.C.”
Partnering with MSGA on a new golf event made perfect sense for Beck’s, a longtime sponsor of MSGA activities, including MN Ag Expo and Soybean Business.
