WORTHINGTON, Minn. (KFGO) – A 9-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in southwest Minnesota Saturday morning.
The State Patrol says the boy was a passenger in an SUV that collided with a semi on I-90 in Worthington.
The boy was taken to Sanford in Sioux Falls.
The SUV was driven by 38-year-old Mitchell Conklin of Elder, South Dakota. The State Patrol says he was under the influence of alcohol.
Conklin suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the semi wasn’t hurt.
