WEST FARGO (KFGO KVRR) – ABT Property Management will be taking over the management of ENVY at The Lights in West Fargo, a property previously managed by EPIC Companies.
According to an internal email, EPIC told tenants that ABT would be taking over management of the property effective June 1.
The email says that all rents for June will be collected by ABT Property Management, and that due to the transition, no late fees will be applied until June 15.
A manager at ABT Property Management says the company has no comment.
West Fargo Mayor Bernie Dardis says conversations among investors are taking place regarding the various properties at The Lights.
“I’ve heard that there are people who are engaged in that conversation with the partnerships. The partnerships are pretty complex, there’s some investors in each of the properties, and some of them are just in one property.”
Other Fargo-Moorhead Epic properties were recently turned over to new managers. On Wednesday, Norsk Hostfest in Minot announced that its cutting ties with Epic and this year’s festival will proceed under its own management.
Epic still hasn’t commented on reports that a number of employees have been laid off. Some contractors who say they are owed money have said they’re worried about getting paid.
