
MINOT, N.D. (KFGO KVRR) – More fallout from the troubles at West Fargo based Epic Companies which has had trouble making payroll, laid off a number of employees and still owes contractors, as first reported by KFGO and KVRR News.
For the past two years the company has managed Norsk Hostfest in Minot, billed as the largest Scandinavian festival in North America.
The Norsk Hostfest Board of Directors has announced that this year’s festival in September will proceed as planned under its own management. The board thanked Epic Events for managing the last two festivals.
Board President John Mackner thanked donors, sponsors and volunteers and said he believes 2024 can be the best event ever.
Norsk Hostfest draws about 25,000 people to Minot for the four-day festival each fall.
It will be held from September 25-28.
