MARSHALL, Minn. – Authorities in southwest Minnesota are investigating the apparent drowning of a boy in Marshall.
Police received a call about a missing child late Wednesday afternoon and search crews found an unresponsive four-year-old boy in the Redwood River about 35 minutes later. Emergency responders tried to save the boy’s life, but he died at the hospital.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the boy’s official cause of death.
Officers say a crime is not suspected.
