WASHINGTON, D.C. (KFGO) – A statewide audit of the Minnesota and North Dakota Post Office District is expected to be released in the coming weeks after reports of major mail delays across parts of the state.
US Senator Tina Smith says unreliable mail is hurting Minnesotans.
“It’s the way people are getting their prescription medications and paying their bills and getting checks in the mail and staying in love with their loved ones, too,” Smith said. She adds she looks forward to getting a full picture in this report so we can hold the Postal Service accountable for real solutions.
