BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department has launched a new mobile trails app for the more than 2,200 miles of statewide trails.
The app offers hiking challenges, an interactive social platform, and outdoor recreation opportunities. It also includes special events and points of interest at state parks.
“This comprehensive app gives outdoor enthusiasts of all levels the tools to discover and explore the large network of trails and hidden gems across North Dakota,” Director Cody Schulz said. “Trail users have asked for a one-stop shop for planning their hikes and rides, so we’re putting these adventures at their fingertips.”
The app is free and available on the App Store and Google Play.
