BARNES COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash, 2 miles north of Valley City, North Dakota around 5:30 Sunday afternoon.
He’s identified as Christopher Jacobson, 45, of Valley City. The State Patrol says he was southbound on County Road 21 when he lost control of the motorcycle and ran off the road, stopping in the north ditch.
Jacobson was not wearing a helmet and received serious life-threatening injuries. He was transported to CHI Mercy Hospital in Valley City before being flown by Sanford Airmed to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. His name has not been released.
He was arrested for DUI.
