CASSELTON, N.D. (KFGO) – An eight-year-old boy from Fargo died after a dirt bike crash on a farm northeast of Casselton.
The boy was driving a dirt bike around a farm Saturday at around 5 p.m., when he lost control while turning in the yard. The boy struck a piece of stationary farm equipment.
Casselton Ambulance, Casselton Fire, and Cass County Sheriff’s Department attempted lifesaving efforts on the scene. The boy was flown to Sanford in Fargo where he died.
The boy’s name will not be released.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
