MANDAN, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the man who was killed in a crash north of Mandan Thursday.
Around 12:45 Thursday afternoon, a Chevy Cruze driven by 20-year-old- Alex Souvathong from Bismarck, crossed the center line on northbound ND highway 1806 1 mile north of Mandan. Souvathong hit a Kenworth head-on.
Souvanthong was killed in the crash. The semi-driver, Shane Grambling of Mandan, was not injured.
The crash closed the highway for almost 6 hours.
