GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – No one was hurt, but some equipment was damaged when product caught fire in a dehydrator at Red River Potatoes in Grand Forks Tuesday morning.
According to the Grand Forks Fire Department, crews were called to 2250 Mill Road around 3 a.m. where heavy smoke was coming from the front of the building. All the employees were out of the building by the time the first firefighters arrived.
Crews put out the fire and damaged product was moved to a safe location.
Grand Forks Police, Altru Ambulance, and Red River Potatoes staff assisted at the scene.
