FOREST LAKE, Minn. – Two runners from Forest Lake Area High School are hospitalized after being hit by a car Tuesday afternoon on Highway 61 in Washington County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the two 15-year-old boys were with a group of track athletes when they were struck in a crosswalk. They were airlifted to the hospital but there’s no word on their current conditions.
The report says an 84-year-old man from Lindstrom was driving the vehicle that hit the runners.
