CLEARBROOK, Minn. (KFGO) – The pilot of a small plane was flown to a Fargo hospital after crashing early this morning in Clearbrook, northwest of Bemidji.
Clearbrook-Gonvick Police Chief Ryan Solee says it happened at about 1:40 a.m. The pilot was outside the plane when first responders arrived.
Solee says the initial investigation shows that the plane experienced mechanical failure.
Assisting agencies included the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office, Clearbrook Fire Department, and Bagley and Bemidji Police.
The condition of the pilot has not been released.
The FAA will handle the investigation.
