2024 Cleanup Week will take place the weeks of May 6-10 and 13-17 and will follow your regular trash collection AND recycling day. Residents may place unwanted debris for disposal on the boulevard in front of their properties to be disposed of by the City. Debris will be collected on residents’ scheduled recycling collection day from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
A limit of two appliances per household will be accepted. Up to four tires and rims will be collected per household. Logs and brush up to 10 inches in diameter will also be accepted. Building materials such as wood or concrete will not be collected. Electronics, including televisions and computers, as well as household hazardous waste including paints, stains, varnish and other waste should not be set out for pickup. Separate items of the same type into distinct piles (tires, appliances, furniture, brush, household garbage, etc.). Separate trucks collect the items. Place garbage in disposable containers, except for oversized items. Remove refrigerator and freezer doors. Do not place food or any other waste inside appliances. Items must be from residences; no commercial waste will be accepted. Keep household garbage at least four feet away from other Cleanup Week items.

CITY OF MOORHEAD
During the weeks of May 6-10 and May 13-17 (Oakport neighborhood is May 21). Pickup will be on your regular trash collection day that is NOT your recycling day. Please have all your clean up items on your curb by 5am the day of collection. Do not set items out more than one day earlier than your Cleanup Day. Note, apartment buildings are not eligible for clean up.
Tires will NOT be collected at the curb. Homeowners will need to dispose of them at retail tire stores or the Resource Recovery Center for a fee. Sort appliances, furniture, household garbage, metal, etc. into piles; different trucks collect specific items. Use disposable containers such as cardboard boxes (no loose garbage please). Two appliances per household will be picked up free of charge. Remove refrigerator and freezer doors for children’s safety. Do not place food or waste inside appliances. No commercial waste will be accepted. Empty propane tanks will also be collected (valves need to be removed or a hole needs to be drilled into the tank).

CITY OF WEST FARGO
Cleanup Week in the City of West Fargo will be May 6-10, 2024. Clean up week materials will be collected on your regular trash collection day.
Stack all refuse in a neat and orderly fashion – separate household waste, inert and metal into piles at least three feet apart. Tires, appliances, and batteries are collected at the curb all year long on garbage collection days. Two appliances will be accepted during Cleanup Week. All appliances must be empty and/or drained. Building materials will be collected, excluding concrete and dirt. Waste oil, paints, varnishes and other household hazardous waste should be taken directly to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility (603 43 1/2 Street N., Fargo). Do not put yard waste or compost with regular garbage or with Cleanup Week collection items. Recycling must be separated from any garbage or Cleanup Week materials. Loose cardboard must be recycled and will not be collected. Electronics such as televisions and computers should not be set out for pickup. All garbage should be placed in disposable containers. Please tie all bags. No oversized containers or bags to exceed 50 lbs. Branch and curbside brush collection begins the week following Cleanup Week.
