Sen. John Hoeven (R-ND)
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO/KNOX) – Sen. John Hoeven is supporting Grand Forks as an innovation hub for unmanned and space military missions.
Hoeven was at The Hive, a business for unmanned aircraft systems in Grand Forks Wednesday as part of his military tour of North Dakota.
The discussion highlighted $30 million for the space development agency and test resource management center, both of which support the low earth orbit satellite mission at Grand Forks Air Force Base and Grand Sky.
At the same time, Hoeven has helped secure more than $100 million for defense research and development efforts across North Dakota.
