
pickup strikes fence in Fargo
FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo Police say three people were arrested after officers attempted to stop a stolen pickup Tuesday morning.
The pickup crashed into a chain link fence near the 1500 block of 20th Avenue S. on a frontage road that runs parallel to the interstate. Both the driver and the two passengers ran. They were quickly caught with the help of K9, Uno, in the 1900 block of 16th St. S.
Nearby Lewis and Clark Elementary School was temporarily placed in lockdown while the search was underway.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Kyle Maez-Schaak, a 31-year-old Bismarck resident. Maez-Schaak was arrested for the following charges:
Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
Possession of a Stolen Firearm
Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia
Criminal Trespass
Refusal to Halt
Fleeing a Peace Officer in a Vehicle
Criminal Mischief
The passenger of the vehicle was identified as Kiarra Lovejoy, a 23-year-old Bismarck resident. Lovejoy was arrested for the following charges:
Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
Possession of a Stolen Firearm
Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia
Criminal Trespass
Refusal to Halt
A second passenger, Landrue Azure (18-year-old Sheyenne resident), was also located and arrested for the following charges:
Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
Possession of a Stolen Firearm
Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia
Criminal Trespass
Refusal to Halt
