ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota State Patrol reports troopers responded to 396 crashes statewide from 7 a.m. Sunday through early Monday morning.
22 people were injured in the crashes and there were 339 vehicle spinouts and 14 jackknifed semis.
A woman was killed when her vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree in Burnsville on Sunday. 51-year-old Elizabeth Evans of Lakeville was northbound on Interstate 35-E approaching County Road 42 when she crashed on the snow and ice-covered highway.
