GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. – The Minnesota State Patrol is reporting troopers responded to 328 crashes statewide through 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Seven people were injured in those crashes, and there were 220 vehicle spinouts and ten jackknifed semis.
Troopers say a woman was killed when her vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree in Burnsville on Sunday. The report says 51-year-old Elizabeth Evans of Lakeville was northbound on Interstate 35-E approaching County Road 42 when she crashed on the snow and ice-covered roadway.
