GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – The National Weather Service now estimates that Fargo-Moorhead could see between 6 and 8 inches of snow from the late March storm.
Meteorologist Austin Perrox with the Grand Forks weather service office says the track of the widespread system has shifted, moving the heaviest snow amounts further south.
Fargo-Moorhead is under a winter storm warning through early Tuesday morning. Patchy blowing and drifting snow is also expected, but blizzard conditions are not anticipated.
The Twin Cities National Weather Service office is calling for up to 10 inches of snow for much of central and southern Minnesota.
