Macy’s West Acres not part of brand’s closure plans

FARGO (KFGO) – Macy’s plan to close 150 unproductive stores does not include the West Acres Shopping Center location.  

“Macy’s West Acres is part of the brand’s long-term strategy and will remain open,” West Acres COO Alissa Adams said Friday.   

Macy’s made the announcement earlier this week, and said the closings will take place over the next three years with 50 stores closing by the end of 2024.
