ROCHESTER, MINN. – The new Minnesota flag is now available at some retailers in the state.
Lee Herold of the Herold Flag Store in Rochester says they have some delivered, but there is not much interest yet. He says the supplies are still limited but his store does have the three-by-five foot size.
He says most of his customers have a negative opinion of the new state flag but that could change over time. Herold says they will continue to sell the old Minnesota flag if there’s demand.
Several U.S. manufacturers are holding off because the legislature could still make changes.
